My respect for the artistic football of the “Aranycsapat” is absolute.
They, under the leadership of Gusztáv Sebes and the immense contributions of Márton Bukovi have given football the essence of elegance and high-school football efficiency. Its players have shown the world a special way of understanding football, a unique way of associating and implying that the game and sport of football is systemic, dynamic and complex in nature. The presence of Puskás, Czibor, Kocsis, Bozsik, shows us the wealth of football transferred to the maximum plastic expression. Football would not be what it is today if these wonderful Hungarians had not existed, who gave us a way of understanding the game that opened the eyes of future generations. Thanks to Hogan, among others, Hungary embraced combination football.

“Football will always be indebted to its teachers, therefore, it is necessary, mandatory from our position as coaches, to make the new generations aware of the reality of our classics. They have inherited all their wisdom from us and we must pass it on to those who will make it the football of the future”.
